Eventide Partners with Genesis to Provide Radio Logging Solutions

- Eventide Inc. and The Genesis Group entered into a technology partnership agreement to integrate Genesis' trunked radio capabilities with Eventide's latest line of Linux-based, digital voice recorders

Eventide has integrated its advanced Linux-based digital call recording systems with Genesis' suite of trunked radio applications to enable Motorola SmartNet, SmartZone, Astro, Omnilink and Dimetra trunk system owners to monitor, record, retrieve, and report on trunked radio conversations and related data.

"Public safety professionals rely on Eventide recorders to capture and search millions of critically important voice calls. Since introducing our latest series of purpose-built loggers, our customers have sought the ability to seamlessly interface their trunked radio systems with the same reliability and functionality as their digital and analog phones," said Eventide Communications Division general manager, Gordon Moore. "We're delighted to work with Genesis, the premier trunked radio application provider, to deliver this important capability to our users."

"Through GenWatch3 and GenSPOut, our Motorola licensed software, we are happy to supply this decoded information to Eventide to allow their customers access to more information about every call," said Genesis founder, Phil Burks. "With the addition of our suite of software, not only can the user hear the audio of a call, he can also look deeper to know who heard the call along with much more important data. Eventide has been a solid and respected leader in the voice recording industry for years and we are proud to have them as part of our technology partnership portfolio."
